Hi well, I have a French speaking test next week and need some help. I tried to do it without a translator, but I am useless (I haven't been in at all so I'm very behind) So I ended up using the translator, but I know there are bits that are wrong. Can someone please help correct the mistakes and just sort it out in general? Also, if you would like to tell me off or give me tips or whatever, I'd really appreciate it too. Thanks :) The Piece; English - I live in Fenham, near the city centre and general hospital. Fenham is in Newcastle, the North East of England, and probably the best city in England. My house is big and untidy and comfortable and spacieux. I like that it is so big, but there are too many things and people in the house. I wish it was emptier and cleaner. But I guess it is alright for now. I used to live with my uncle in a flat. It was small and only had one room. I used to sleep on the sofa-bed, but it was alright because I didn't stay for long, maybe only a month or so. Not much! Well, actually there is quite alot, but it is expensive. There is all the activities in town, such as the cinema and restaurants, cafes and other places for us to relax. There are also many parks, though they are mainly family-oriented and for younger children. Usually, instead, (teens) just go to each others houses. well, there are many museums, galleries, historical sights, everything. There's places like York and Alnwick, but that is on the outskirts of the city really. Yes. Sometimes there is too much traffic and sometimes it is very expensive to live here. Also, there are no jobs for young people, which I hate, because then I can not afford to go anywhere. I do not know. Maybe they should try and keep traffic out, or have a 'PArk and Ride' system in the city centre. As for jobs; I guess I am just going to have to try harder and be patient! French - J'habite dans Fenham, près du centre-ville et de l'hôpital général. Fenham est à Newcastle, le Nord à l'Est de l'Angleterre et sans doute la meilleure ville en Angleterre. Ma maison est grande et en désordre et confortable et spacieux. Je ça aime c'est si grand, mais il y a trop de choses et les gens dans ma maison. Je regrette que ce ne soit pas plus vide et plus propre. Mais je suppose que c'est bien pour maintenant. J'habitude avec mon oncle dans un appartement. C'était petit et avait seulement une pièce. J'ai eu l'habitude de dormir sur le sofalit, mais il était bien parce que je ne suis pas resté pendant longtemps, peut-être seulement un mois ou à peu près Pas beaucoup! Bien, vraiment il y a tout à fait, mais c'est cher. Il y a toutes les activités dans la ville, comme le cinéma et les restaurants, les cafés et d'autres endroits pour nous pour se reposer. Il y a aussi beaucoup de parcs, bien qu'ils soient surtout orientés de famille et pour les enfants plus jeunes. D'habitude, au lieu de cela (l'adolescence) vont juste chez chacun d'autres logent. bien, il y a beaucoup de musées, galeries, vues historiques, tout. Il y a des endroits comme York et Alnwick, mais c'est sur la périphérie de la ville vraiment. Oui. Quelquefois il y a trop de circulation et quelquefois il est très cher de vivre ici. Aussi, il n'y a aucun emploi pour les jeunes gens, que je déteste, parce qu'alors je ne peux pas me permettre d'aller n'importe où. Je ne sais pas. Peut-être ils devraient essayer et empêcher la circulation d'entrer, ou avoir un 'PARC et un Trajet' le système dans le centre-ville.
